Asylum Law

Asylum Law is changing. Even if you qualify, new procedures and agreements may impact your case.

Recent developments in immigration jurisprudence have fundamentally altered the landscape of asylum adjudication in the United States. The combined effect of newly operationalized Asylum Cooperative Agreements (ACAs) and the Board of Immigration Appeals’ recent precedent in Matter of C-I-G-M- & L-V-S-G– represents more than isolated policy shifts—they form part of a broader systematic restriction of humanitarian relief that affects both asylum seekers at the border and established parolees already within the United States.

Client Success Stories

At Konare Law, every case is about helping families find stability and peace of mind. Attorney Namuun Byambadorj recently achieved two important outcomes for clients.

  • Custody Success – Namuun successfully helped a client obtain custody through the court, providing legal stability for the child and family.
  • Positive ICE Check-In Outcome – In another case, a client attended a scheduled ICE check-in. With preparation and legal guidance, the client was able to complete the appointment and return home to their family

Judicial Warrant vs Administrative Warrant

Not all warrants are the same. A judicial warrant, signed by a judge, may allow officers to enter private property. An administrative warrant, often issued by ICE, does not automatically give officers the right to enter your home.

Understanding the difference can help protect you and your family. If you’re unsure about your rights or have concerns about your situation, schedule a consultation with Konare Law to speak with an experienced immigration attorney.

Can ICE still stop a deportation in 2026?

In some cases, yes but timing and strong evidence are critical.

Attorney Mariia of Konare Law explains that a Stay of Removal is a temporary order that may pause deportation, giving someone time to pursue legal options or continue fighting their case. However, a common mistake is filing too late or without enough supporting evidence.

If you or a loved one has a final order of removal, acting early can make a significant difference. Speaking with an experienced immigration attorney can help you understand your options and the best next steps.
